Dynamic Planning of Bicycle Stations in Dockless Public Bicycle-sharing System Using Gated Graph Neural Network

چکیده

Benefiting from convenient cycling and flexible parking locations, the Dockless Public Bicycle-sharing (DL-PBS) network becomes increasingly popular in many countries. However, redundant low-utility stations waste public urban space maintenance costs of DL-PBS vendors. In this article, we propose a Bicycle Station Dynamic Planning (BSDP) system to dynamically provide optimal bicycle station layout for network. The BSDP contains four modules: drop-off location clustering, bicycle-station graph modeling, prediction, recommendation. clustering module, candidate are clustered each spatio-temporal subset large-scale trajectory records. modeling weighted digraph model is built based on results inferior with low revenue utility filtered. Then, models across time periods combined create sequence model. prediction GGNN used train data predict next period. recommendation predicted fine-tuned according government management plan, which ensures that recommended conducive city management, vendor revenue, user convenience. Experiments actual networks verify effectiveness, accuracy, feasibility proposed system.

A Public Bicycle Sharing System Considering Renting and Middle Stations

Recently, public bicycle sharing system (PBSS) has become one of the most favorite urban transportation systems that can help governments to decrease environmental problems such as pollution and traffic. This paper studies a sharing system that includes two types of stations. The first category contains stations that users can rent or return back bicycles and each bicycle can be rented by any n...

Evaluation and Relocating Bicycle Sharing Stations in Mashhad City using Multi-Criteria Analysis

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the present status of Mashhad’s Bicycle Sharing (BS) Program's stations, and to locate future stations, taking into account the 7 criteria of “proximity to subway stations”, “proximity to other stations”, “distance from important intersections”, “distance from population centers”, “proximity to educational, recreational and commercialcenters”, “slope lev...

Balancing public bicycle sharing system by defining response rates for destinations

Public Bicycle Sharing System (PBSS) is used as a way to reduce traffic and pollution in cities. Its performance is related to availability of bicycles for picking up and free docks to return them. Existence of different demand types leads to the emergence of imbalanced stations. Here, we try to balance inventory of stations via defining maximal response rates for each type of rental request. I...

Bidirectional Incentive Model for Bicycle Redistribution of a Bicycle Sharing System during Rush Hour

Redistribution is an important part of operational activities in a bicycle sharing system (BSS). This paper proposes that there are two types of users in a BSS: leisure travelers and commuters. The operators and the government are adopting the bidirectional incentive model (BIM) to improve their service level of redistribution. That is, the BIM stimulates leisure travelers to actively respond t...

How barriers and motivators can affect Mashhad citizens' usage of bicycle sharing system: A qualitative approach

The purpose of the present study is to identify the motivators and the barriers of using Mashhad’s Bicycle Sharing System. Bicycle sharing systems (BSS) are carried out in different ways, so each system has specific features and conditions. The authors of this paper have used a qualitative approach with a thematic analysis method for an in-depth analysis of the motivators and barriers of Mashha...
